On, May 18 Sunnyside School will celebrate Canada 150 by wearing red. In addition, students will read 150 minutes of 150 Canadian Authors. Our students will take part in three reading events: independent reading of a book written by a Canadian author, book talks to discuss books written by Canadian authors, and book buddies where each child will have an opportunity to read something they've written to another student and then share a fav Canadian book. All students will receive a book mark on this day.
